Yes ! If you are holding an event you may wish to try the DIY option and rent a spit roast machine. Posh Pigs is able to offer this service and would deliver the machine to your event venue. We would also arrange for the pig to be delivered at the same time prepared and ready go. Why not impress your friends with your catering skills ? | TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MACHINE RENTAL In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding your booking, please note the following terms and conditions of Posh Pigs Hog Roasting service. All bookings are provisional until the receipt of your 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. If however, the date of your function changes we will do our utmost to accommodate your new date but with no obligation. The 50% outstanding balance will be due two weeks prior to the event and Posh Pigs have the right to cancel the booking if the full amount is not forthcoming seven days prior to the date. You are liable for any damage by misuse and/or theft while the equipment is in your possession. We recommend that you ensure that you have adequate insurance protection for the equipment to the value of £3,000. Never leave the hog roast while it is switched on. It must be supervised at all times. Children must be kept away from the equipment during cooking at all times. All surfaces on the oven become extremely hot. Posh Pigs accept no responsibility for any injury to persons or damage to property incurred while hiring or otherwise using or handling the equipment, however caused. Posh Pigs will deliver the machine with the hog ready for cooking and will ensure that the carcass rotates without snagging on the burners. However, it is your responsibility to frequently check the meat during cooking and check that the bolts for the pole that carries the hog remain tight and secure. Posh Pigs will give cooking instructions on arrival. Please note that cooking times will vary but the general rule is 1 hour per 10kg of carcass weight. |
